This is the oldest song on the record written 5 years earlier. It comes from a time in my life where nothing was going right despite my best efforts. I was running a recording studio, practicing hours a day on the drums, and performing as a singer/songwriter. Yet I was still hit with huge life events that threatened to change my entire life. I truly felt like life had dealt me a bad hand and their was nothing I could do about it.

Fortunately, that was not the end of the story. I recorded this song to remind myself and others that no matter how bad it gets, it can and will get better.
